Long Fallen Crisp Leaves

rustle in northern whirlwind —

Writing Prompt
Write a 5-7-5 Poem! This is a poem with only three lines. The catch is there is a strict syllable count. The first line has 5 syllables, second 7, third 5 again.


5/7/5 haiku is a short poem that uses imagistic language to convey the essence of an experience of nature intuitively linked to the human condition. The essence of haiku is the juxtaposition of two images or ideas separated by a dash or ellipsis (~ .... )
