She's afraid!
The Time Has Come!

It’s happening tonight. I just know it. All the signs are there. If I can hold onto my nerves a bit longer, maybe it won’t be as bad as I expect. Hopefully, it won’t be as bad as the last time.
I’ve hidden myself in the basement beneath the stairs where it’s dark. Goose bumps cover my arms, and I’m shaking like a leaf. Sweat’s pouring down my face. I know it’s coming, and there’s no way to stop it.
Uh-oh. The door opened at the top of the stairs, and footsteps tell me he’s found me. It won’t be long now.
He drags me upstairs where everything is ready for this ordeal. My heart is beating like a trip hammer, and I can hardly breathe. He begins to pull out the tools he’ll need for the job. This is it. Dear God, I pray I survive this.
“Come on, dear, and help me. It’s time to pay the bills.”
