Exciting to see

Tumultuous Skies

Artistic Contest Winner 
Across the black clouds thunder rolls,
silver lightning streaking by,
Green trees sway with the gathering wind,
the sky opens up and starts to cry.

Ozone lies heavy in the air,
purple lilac scents mixed in.
Barefoot through the mud I fly,
heedless, I'm drenched to the skin.

Falling crystal rain delights,
rivers fill and reach their crest.
Causing excitement every time,
summer storms, they are the best.
