The Cleaning Crew!

Kiddies motivational poem Contest Winner 
Eva and her best friend Mike,
would go to the park each day.
They had a lot of fun there,
every time they went to play.

The slide was the very tallest,
like it reached up to the cloud.
And swings that flew them to the sky,
made both kids laugh out loud.

There also was a little pond,
where kids could fish and splash.
But people can be litter bugs,
and soon it filled with trash!

Eva told her mama, 
and Mike told his mom too.
Their families got together,
to decide what they should do.

Eva and Mike put posters up,
"A CLEAN UP IN THE PARK",
So many neighbors joined them,
and they worked 'till it got dark.

Soon the small pond sparkled,
just like it used to do.
Both kids were proud of being,
a part of the clean up crew.

Afterwards, the kids all played,
and had a lot of fun.
Then had a picnic by the pond,
since all their work was done.
