Quite Unusual

Peculiar Percy

Funny Nonsense Poem Contest Winner 
Percy Plenty went up the down staircase,
turned off his light, the whole room lit up!
Took a left turn, down the right hallway,
a big loud "MEOW" was barked from his pup!

Percy Plenty ate his eggs unbroken,
drank his coffee from the gold fish bowl.
Where's the fish? He can't imagine!
Then ate some grape jelly without any roll.

Percy Plenty went to work wearing ice-skates,
in the summer time blazing heat.
Stopped at the store to buy food for dinner,
later he found, there was no food to eat!

Percy Plenty put his Sunday suit on,
when nightfall came he got ready for bed.
He put on his top coat, and his red rain boots,
a bowler hat, he placed up on his head.

Percy Plenty woke up in the morning,
put on his pajamas to start off his day.
Percy Plenty, was a quite mixed up fellow,
at least, that's what all of his neighbors would say!
