Rainy Summer Days

I love the rain on summer days.
It taps the pane and beckons me.
I can't stay in. I must go out.
We play together happily.

I love the rain on summer days.
A rainbow 'brella is my roof
and hooded slicker keeps me dry.
My yellow boots are waterproof.

I love the rain on summer days
when water splashes on the street
and puddles form twin mini-ponds.
Like magnets they attract my feet.

I love the rain on summer days
for I'm a girl who can't resist
just stomping, romping through them all.
My face gets wet as few are missed.

Writing Prompt
A kyrielle is made of quatrains that rhyme. Each stanza (that is a quatrain) has a line that repeats, so a line from a previous stanza. That line usually (but does not necessarily have to) be the last line in the stanza. Each line in the poem has eight syllables. There is no limit to the number of stanzas. Usually there are three or more stanzas. Any type of rhyme scheme can be used. More information and an example.
