Stop The Madness!

Woke?...I'd Rather Stay Asleep

by Boogienights

Our country's changed so much of late,
uncertainty reigns, it's filled with hate.
Divided now we are by race,
a broken society's what we face.

Critical Race Theory is taught in schools,
the game has changed, so has the rules.
God said to love your fellow man,
these days I don't think that we can.

We're "Woke" all right, to filthy lies!
We're told to open up our eyes.
Now people of color must come first,
but that's just racism in reverse.

Can't we all just live as one?
I know this hate can be undone.
Made it through a pandemic with dangers unseen,
on the other side now, we've come out clean.

But a different pandemic threatens us all,
cancel culture in play now will make us all fall.
Can we please give our children a world to live in,
Where people aren't judged by the tone of their skin?
