A Nana's Love Never Leaves.....
Just Reach Out
by Begin Again
Hurricane winds pummeled the old house. Amidst its creaking groans, rafters snapped and blew away. Stately palms bowed. Pounding waves rushed death through the door.
Horrified, Sara clutched Nana’s cross and time-worn letter.
Dear darling Sara,
When you’re sad or afraid, I am always here. I will never go away.
Someday when the time is right, your voice will call for me.
Just reach out your hand, and I will be there. Just wait and see.
Love, Nana
Splintered window glass cut like ribbons. Blood spewed from her wounds. Sara screamed.
She gripped Nana’s withered hand and cried, “You came.”
