I Love... writing prompt entry
Writing Prompt Write a 5-7-5 poem about something (not someone) you love. |
Note:
Unsurprisingly, trees are often used as a metaphor for life. I love walking among them, feeling their shelter and beauty. They often appear united in a sense of community, yet they are all so different. There are always stand-apart individuals, the tall, the short, old, young, straight, bent.
I enjoy how they can stand firm, like good citizens, how they tolerate children playing in their branches and dogs peeing on their trunks, how they nurture many other forms of life, and how they are always ready to accommodate a playful breeze.
