A Summer Place

Wistful is how I feel whenever I listen to "A Summer Place," whether it's Percy Faith's instrumental version or Andy Williams' vocal. Both return me to a Presbyterian camp grounds on Lake Tahoe where I spent an unbelievable summer almost sixty years ago. Only 22, I fell in love. Indeed a Summer Place is "anywhere when two people share all their hopes, all their dreams, all their love."
