This work has reached the exceptional level
A delightful person to know

Cheryl Cheerful

Ms. Cheerful is a welcome soul.
You've seen or met her once or twice.
She's ageless 'cause she's never sad
and can't be real. She's just too nice!

More than a friend, a beaming fan,
your waitress with the ready smile,
that nurse whose grin dispelled the hurt,
Ms. Cheery in the groc'ry aisle.

She makes your lips curl up not down,
lights up your face, dispels dark mood.
Her cheeriness is what you need
whenever you're inclined to brood.

She's sunny on the bleakest days,
a sweet eternal optimist
whose easy laugh convinces you
that silver linings do exist.
