A tanka for the picture this club challenge

Through the Years

by June Sargent



strolling in the rain

hearts and hands joined together

as if nothing's changed ~

but the color of the leaves

glistening 'neath the blue moon

Tanka - a Japanese poetic form with 5 lines and a syllable count of 5-7-5-7-7. There is usually a pivot in the third line.
