Fisherman Catches a Big Fish

The Big Fish

by Terry Broxson

John was fishing on his favorite lake in Canada. While using a large nightcrawler for bait, he hooked a big one. All of John's skill was required to land this fish. But, that was only part of the problem. John had no camera, no way to weigh the fish, and it was a northern pike, and it was out of season. He could not keep it. The dilemma was how to prove he had caught this big fish. His buddies were on the other side of the lake. So, John drew a picture of the fish. Everyone would believe him.
