Farewell to a Pet

by tempeste

when death claimed my poor pet Blair
I cut off long lock of hair

placed it between criss-cross paws
then left tasty treats near jaws

retrieved bunch of fluffy fur
heavy heart misses his purrs

furry friend is in my prayers
