Our Friendship Over The Years

by LisaMay

It was you who made me see
what friendship could be
in a wider family.

Your kindness will remind
me how we’re intertwined
in loving ties that bind.

When life went sad and wrong
and I lost my bright song
you helped me to be strong.

You’re my phone-a-friend,
so loyal to the end.
On you I do depend.

In this life’s wear-and-tear,
I’ll remember that you care
to share and just be there.

We dearly love to giggle.
It makes our wobbly bits jiggle
as we try not to piddle.

We never will be strippers;
you help me with stuck zippers;
and we flirt with cruise skippers.

With love, I send you praise
for all our happy days
in oh so many ways.

As a friend, I choose YOU.
Thank you for all you do.
Our friendship will see me through.
