This work has reached the exceptional level
Feeling silly this morning with my complete fictional poem

He Loves Me? or Maybe Not!

by Debi Pick Marquette

He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not Contest Winner
I pulled apart a dandelion, to see if it would work
To love or love him not, and  hope he's not a jerk

I've known him just a couple of days, but think that this will help
If he is not what he should be, I'll report the guy to Yelp

Next I'll try a cob of corn and peel out every kernel
I'll say "He loves me" phrase and results into my journal

If he doesn't treat me right, then soon he will be free
That will be the last this guy will see the likes of me

Now I have a new guy , but he's not doing so well
His muscles, his manlihood and head sure seem to swell

I just need a man who tells me what I need to hear
He only talks about himself, he's made that pretty clear

I may not be perfect but I think that I deserve
A little better boyfriend, than a guy with so much nerve

I think that I've been doing this wrong, its not like this is science
Stop asking "does he love me not?" that part I think I'll silence

So I just met another man  and I think he's Mr. Right
I finally found some daisies, so I think that I just might

Ask only "does he love me?" until there are no more
Then I know the answer is the one I've waited for
