Attractions of country life. (Quartet of 5-7-5)
Afternoon Interlude
Charming rural scene —
sparkling river so serene;
patchwork fields of green.
Trail goes winding through,
climbing hills to gain a view.
How such sights renew!
Breathe that country air.
Feel the breeze ruffle my hair.
Peace beyond compare.
City down below.
I will drag my feet so slow
when back home I go.
