My entertaining cat.

Lily Makes Me Laugh

My Lily's so silly — she zooms willy-nilly,
and then she’ll flop down in my lap for a nap.
My acrobat cat keeps showing me that
with more pounce per ounce, she’s full of bounce.

This dear kitty is scatty and she drives me batty.
She brings me her ‘kills’ that give her cheap thrills;
things fetched from outside she then tries to hide.
I find mice in my shoes she’s put there to amuse.

When I try to snooze she’ll express her loud views,
thus disrupting sweet sleep, but I’ll always keep
her close as my pet — she’s the best I’ve had yet.
She’s cute and so clever. I’ll love her forever.
