Your Health Is...

What Really Matters

Your Body Contest Winner
Always wanted to have the perfect body,
like models in magazines you often see.
The perfect measurements, I'd be a hottie,
that's not the way it all turned out for me.

I fought all of my life with my weight issues,
one diet after another, this and that.
I've cried my way through lots of boxed-up tissues,
I'd lose, gain, lose, but always end up fat.

But that's all in the past and it's all over,
now I'm older and my knees are shot to hell.
Where once I liked to walk, I was a rover,
my walking days are done with I can tell.

Arthritic now, my body has betrayed me,
and I'm not too happy with the way I feel.
Not worried how I look, just want to be free,
I wish there was some way that I could heal.
