flaming sunset bleeds
over unyielding moors
where empty boat
rocks to sound of lulling waves
in unwelcoming shore —
at home … radio plays more than the blues

~ Same Poem With Plain Font ~

flaming sunset bleeds
over unyielding moors

where empty boat
rocks to sound of lulliing waves
in unwelcoming  shore
at home ... radio plays more than the blues

Mooring refers to tying your boat to a dock, wharf, or pier.

The Manyoshu is the oldest collection of Classical Japanese poetry, compiled sometime after AD 759 during the Nara period. It reflects Buddhist teachings.

The Manyoshu is divided into songs about love, joy, sadness, or mourning the dead. The form in Japanese is 5-7-5-7-7-7 (in English pattern varies) = 38 syllables OR LESS wikipedia
