What Makes Me Happy Contest Winner 
 
What makes me happy? Let me see,
I've penned so many poems on this.
There's much I've written here before,
still, there's NEW things that bring me bliss.

My new granddaughter, Hannah Rose,
to hear her laugh just brings me joy.
Discovered Game of Thrones, it's great!
Some clever plot twists, they employ.

A long, lost brother searched for me,
So happy to know that he's there.
Oceans apart, yet we've grown close,
I hope we'll meet someday, somewhere.

It makes me happy just to write,
to share with others how I feel.
Plus, getting feedback, good or bad,
I need the help, let's just be real.

I'm happy just to be alive,
to have my family here with me.
I'm glad that they're all safe and well,
it's been a rough two years, you see.

There's way too much to list right here,
new things will pop up every day.
So many happy things in life,
throughout the years, have come my way.
