I am a mother and a wife,
my family brings me the best in life.
I'm a new grandma, she stole my heart,
I was meant to be one from the start.

Live theatre I'm addicted to,
it makes me happy, how 'bout you?
Museums, movies, I love them all,
they never fail to enthrall.

I'm a writer of poems, stories too,
I hope to be published before I'm through.
I was socially awkward and shy in my youth,
I'm actually still, to tell you the truth.

I express my feelings through poetry,
read between my lines, no doubt, you'll see me.
I love to read, not kindles, real books,
when I visit the library I get funny looks...

Because my book stack is high,
it's heavy indeed.
But I just can't help it,
I need books to read!

I try to be kind and help when I can,
volunteering is great, I am a big fan.
Strong opinions I have, I like to express,
can't help it if what I say causes distress.

I think all around, I'm pretty okay,
and that's about it, there's not much more to say.
