Anticipating Autumn

You Choose Contest Winner 
How quickly seasons pass,
there's Autumn in the air.
Soon trees will change their dress,
burnished colors worn with flair.

Jack gets ready with his brush,
frost designs, he will create.
Windowpanes display his art,
they're quite lovely, no debate.

Holidays, they draw near,
my favorite is Halloween.
Ghostly happenings will make
even the bravest scream.

Thanksgiving and Christmas day
make happy memories.
Turkey, stuffing, pumpkin pie,
to those, I say "Yes please!"

There's so much to enjoy
at this wonderful time of year.
Autumn is so special,
I can't wait until it's here.
