Jesse had his knee replaced and I hope it all went well

When I hear how he is doing, I certainly will tell

He knows about the time and the healing it will take

He also knows, just what kind of difference it will make

Therapy will start, the next morning right away

They're the ones to say if he can go or he must stay

It may not be too easy, but it surely will feel right

To know he'll walk again; his future's looking bright
