Florida Calling

Florida has great sights to see,

recorded in their history.

It once was where the snowbirds go,

to avoid the cold, ice and snow.

But, now the youngsters can't await,

to go and live in this great state.

Many of my kin reside there,

enjoying sun and ocean air.

I'm now to old to make that change

and go to where the storm clouds range.

So, I'll stay here, all through my time.

I need no longer hills to climb.

My weather suits me to a tee

and feel this is where I should be.

Let young ones face the storms and strife.

I'm happy here, this is my life.
