In His Heart...

A Spirited Change

by Boogienights

Mr. Scrooge, he got a fright,
happening quite late at night.
Perhaps his supper caused his plight,
pickle and sausage fried delight.

"Bah Humbug!", is what he'd recite,
he would say it just for spite.
Marley came to reunite,
his chains he rattled with great might.

Three ghosts came after, they were a sight,
to change his mind and make things right.
One with orange hair so bright,
he was quite thin, but great in height.

All three then, took him on a flight,
these spirits, he did not invite...
Indeed, would change his world despite
that he believed Christmas a blight.

A doodle drawn on parchment white,
Scrooge drew his story of that night.
Those in need, no more he'd slight,
for three wise ghosts showed him the light.
