Gorgeous Greens

My Favorite Color Contest Winner 
No matter the shade of wonderful green,
it's the best color that I've ever seen.
From light to dark green, and all in between,
seeing it makes me feel peaceful, serene.

Found out in nature, grass, bushes, trees, leaves,
lovely green landscapes are what nature weaves.
Green is the color of life I believe,
the absence of green would make us all grieve.

Tasty green foods, avocados for dips,
makes my lips smile when paired up with chips.
Green lettuce, cucumbers, are a delight,
I can eat green grapes most all day and night.

Money is green, and it's what we all need,
though never do I have enough, indeed!
I love wearing green, I find it brings cheer,
green's been my favorite hue, year after year.
