I miss my flat walking shoes

The way they made me feel

 I could go farther 

So much farther than all the others

So far that even my fitness tracker couldn't find me


I love the feeling of that flat rubber sole

 They are so wonderful ~ I love that great control 

They feel so amazing 

Until it rubs on my toe

Then for just a day or so ~ I'm moving kinda slow

                                     
   They go with almost anything, that's hanging in my closet

A stylish baggy sweatshirt 

Classy stretch pants with no seams

A cute little t~shirt
            
A pair of skinny jeans


   Almost anything I choose

                                        Because I love love love

                                                      I love my flat walking shoes

While I tell you about loving things, that are in the style of flat

Wish a couple upper body parts, were a little more like that


I haven't worn them for a while, but I am hopeful for the Spring

The birds won't be the only ones, who will rejoice and Sing

So when I wear those flat walkers
I'll show some attitudes

The only thing that I wear now
Is a pair of flat "Hey Dudes"
