Writing Prompt Write a Senru. A poem that follows the five, seven, and five syllable count (5, 7, 5). 17 syllables in all. Senryu is usually written in the present tense and only references to some aspect of human nature or emotions. |
Not only do people have conflicting aspects of their own personalities to work on, which seem to entrap, but sometimes loved ones are in conflict with each other, and people are caught between them, not knowing how to respond for the best, and without taking sides, to encourage harmony and peaceful resolution.
