I enter everything I can

I want to win – that is my plan!

I’ll beat each woman and each man

‘Cos I must win!

I’ll pay the price to get reviews

I’ll offer sums they can’t refuse!

And then their favour I will use -

So I will win!

I’ll even choose to write the rules

Then we’ll see who wins the duels!

Though the voters are not fools ….

I want to win!

Then I thought, “This is just crazy!”

So now I’m getting rather lazy!

I’ve lost the drive – it doesn’t matter,

It’s just a lot of ego chatter!

So now I write for my own pleasure,

If and when I have some leisure. . .

My head no longer holds that din,

‘Cos I no longer need to win!
