We do not have “Thanksgiving” Days –

But each day we can give Him praise,

Thankful for blessings we receive,

Grateful for comfort when we grieve,          

Let’s show support to those in need. . .

And be alert to shackles of greed. . .

We’re thankful to God for all He's done,

For all His goodness, to everyone.

But, rather than feast, let’s prefer to be used

To help the vulnerable, the weak, the abused.

Yes, enjoy Thanksgiving – but also share

There’s plenty of people who need our care.
