An Instant Change

Josh was an insecure man

he takes a sip of a new coffee,

immediately he feels different,

a sense of confidence comes over him,

believes he can conquer the world.

No longer shy around girls

they even enjoy his company

all share laughs and jokes,

Josh even asks one for a date.

His depression has lifted,

Josh is filled with joy,

he sings and dances everywhere he goes,

everyone thinks he's crazy

but he doesn't care.

Now, Josh is secure with who he is,

attends college then medical school

graduates with honors,

becomes a well known doctor.

Josh has cured many of his patients,

and earned many accolades from his peers.

Everyone trusts and looks up to him,

youngsters want to be like him.
