Now, may God – the splendid God of hope –  

The One who gives grace and strength to cope –

May He fill you, complete you, to the very brim

With deep and meaningful thoughts of Him.

Our hope is certain, assured, it will be

Fulfilled in eternal reality.

He'll fill you with all joy, deeper than happiness

So you'll stay strong, despite any distress.

May this loving God also grant you peace

Soul-calming and restful, for He gives release,

As you trust in Him … for He’s worthy of trust!

Count on Him, have faith – that’s a must.

In fact, may your hope even overflow

By God’s Spirit, giving that special glow

His Spirit has such enormous power

To meet our needs, hour by hour.

This most glorious God is worthy of praise,

I’ll serve Him with love, to the end of my days.
