A Christmas Thank You
Thank you
by Mary Vigasin
If I tried to write a poem, your first thought might be: "what the hell is this!" Rather than seen as a thank you to all I have met along the way with reviews or your posts.
So, I write prose, but you may still find it unreadable!
Each time you reviewed or I read your posts, whether poem or prose, I saw it as a gift from you as inspirational and expanding my knowledge not only as a half-baked writer but, more importantly, as a member of a unique community.
The stockings on my fireplace are overflowing with names like Roy, Helen, Terry, Dolly, John, Jan, Jessi, Lisa, Jaybird, Liz, Carol, Sarah, Sally, Susan, Wendy, Bill, Theodore, Jake, Gypsy, and Thomas, as well as so many more too numerous to mention. I want you all to know that you also fill my stocking and my heart.
To those who celebrate the Festival of Lights, you shine brighter with inspiration and support.
A few lumps of coal for myself for sometimes avoiding posts because I do not want to provide an honest assessment or give a lower rating without a clear explanation.
To those who have put your pen down forever or have briefly lost your way, we miss your voice, and God Bless you.
My heartfelt thank you to all.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
