Jim and I left South Dakota and traveled to Milwhakee, Wisconsin. We had the coldest winter yet in our travels.

 

We left after one month to travel to Alabama, Gadsden to be precise. We arrived on December 18th, 2022. Oh before I forget, while in Wisconsin we took a tour of the Pabst House.

 

We had stayed in Gadsden once before, so it was familiar. On New Years Day, Jim announced that he had found a place on line so that we could divorce, so on January 3rd, 2023 we found a notary who met us at Jack's. All Jim had to do was give me my copy and it was final. I had until the 17th of January to basically 'get' out. Today is the 11th.

 

I was planning to leave the smart car, the camper and the truck behind. Jim rented me an SUV to move my stuff, basically boxes. So I will go on an adventure to Sioux Falls, South Dakota to a) find a home and b) find a part time job. It sure is cold up there, lol.

 

The car is paid off as is the truck. The camper needs to be refinanced in Jim's name. The car is in both of our names, when Jim suggested 'assisted living' I told him I would have no need for the car. The truck is in my name only.

 

Wish me luck! I have no idea what brought this on. Jim has pericarditis from our covid19 shots perhaps that is why? Who knows!
