A lecture on alcohol abuse

Ron was pulled over by a police car as he was driving his car around midnight along the High street.
"Where are you going at this late hour?" asked the officer.
"I'm going to a lecture," answered Ron. "It's on excessive alcohol abuse and smoking and the effects that they have on the human body.
"Really," said the officer. "and who exactly will be giving the lecture at this unearthly hour?" ...
"My wife," said Ron.
