Glorious Green

Choose a Color Contest Winner 
 
Glorious green, what can I say?
Your hues delight me every day!
You're seldom in my wallet though...
but when you are, I love you so!
 
In nature, you shine everywhere,
in grass, leaves, trees, I'll find you there.
So many shades of green are seen,
and each one makes me feel serene!
 
Green symbolizes life renewed,
with happy, hopeful thoughts pursued.
Green soothes my mind and troubled soul,
'cause life's burdens can take their toll.
 
Please don't forget green foods to eat,
like lovely green grapes, what a treat!
With avocados for your dips,
just where else would you dip your chips?
 
Variations, there's forty-four, 
don't like one hue? There's plenty more!
I've loved green all my life, still do,
It makes me happy, how 'bout you?
