I met a man the other day

Who almost took my breath away.

His ways were suave and debonair –

An answer to my every prayer.

I wonder if he is the one,

Or will it just be hit and run?

I must be wary and decide

If I’m to be his blushing bride.

So now I know I must pursue

A method that is tried and true.

I’ll pick a daisy in my field,

And there my fate will be revealed.

Tis then I’ll find what is my lot:

He loves me or he loves me not.
