Jesus as a servant came

Lord Jesus as a servant came,
to die for man and take sin's blame.
He did not judge a single man,
but He fulfilled redemption's plan.

The only way that man is great,
is be the least...a servant's fate.
But pride will cause a fall from grace
as Satan fell from favour's place

So if you truly loved the Lord,
you'd join with Him in one accord.
So please don't think that you're alright
we were once sinners in God's sight.

Now some may think I'm always up,
from Jesus' table always sup.
But I confess it is not true,
I sometimes swim in sorrow's stew,
Yet those long nights I know I'll rise,
in mercy's dawn, joy is faith's prize.
