Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level
A possible solution to a universal mystery

Unknowns

There is in life an x, unknown,
so let us call it God,
and let us solve our lives for x -
a postulate that's odd

when reason also looks for why,
another undefined,
a simultaneous mystery
Math'matics has divined,

but we can solve our lives for x
if logic is displaced,
by taking why right out of it,
and substituting faith.

There are some who believe that the mysteries of the universe can be explained by Mathematics. I haven't yet decided if that is a case of putting one's faith in reason, or an attempt to put reason into faith.
