How long will we permit forces of fate
to poison our hearts with unbridled hate?
Together, we need to declare and vow:
All life is a treasure to celebrate…
 
If we do not learn from the past somehow,
become embittered with malice, and bow
to apathy’s evils that now arise,
then our own destruction we will allow…
 
With conviction, we must stand and despise
malignant actions pregnant with dark lies  ~
Therein lies our true hope for sanity
as we ponder life under star-filled skies
 
These beliefs are not proffered vanity ~
As our world increases inanity,
one path: revoke such vile profanity
in order to save our humanity...
