A Diatelle Entry

Cheers

Tears,
now dry.
Don't know why
we never met
even to say goodbye.
Was I that easy to forget?
Or, was devotion too much of a threat?
Together we could have shared a love lasting years,
instead of odd moments stung with regret.
How my heart used to pirouette
when I would catch your eye.
Now that vignette
makes me cry
and sigh.
Cheers!
