Bowling Poem contest entry

PBA Title Bound

He slowly steps behind the line
and aims the bowling ball.
His gathered fans anticipate
and hold their breath in awe.

He calculates the ball's release
and distance to the pins,
imagining the strike he'll bowl
before his swing begins.

In perfect form he nails the strike
and chuckles out in joy.
We set the plastic pins back up
for Grandma's little boy.
