I hear soft murmurs in the wind
each flow and bend
enchanting me
with melody

Light, playful songs of brooks and rills
among the hills
in lilting call
they rise and fall

Damp, misty lakeside’s twilight sound
in stillness found
long, haunting tunes
of lonely loons
