Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level
She entered the conference room and my heart fluttered

The appointment

On June twenty-three in eighty-three,
she walked in with such elegant strides
to explore her project with two others and me.
but, my mind wandered; in my heart, she resided.

It was at precisely the eleven o'clock hour
enticed by her charms, her poise, her beauty
when I notice no ring, it was she, I wanted to devour.
A chance? I thought, " to get to know this cutie."

The noon hour arrived, her presentation complete,
I told the team, I would wrap up our time.
So I invited her, over lunch, to review our meet.
The rest is history, she became my valentine!

How I met my Valentine Poem Poetic style ABAB, CDCD, EFEF

This was back in a time when men were cavalier, and women were breaking into the corporate world. Before political correctness, or I would have not invited the follow-up lunch. To bad we have slid so far from men being men and women being women.
