Deadly Sins Contest Winner

I'm prosperous in many ways
with love, good friends and health.
I'm blessed with more than I deserve,
rewarding is my wealth.

But Fanstory has stained my soul
so harshly from within.
Salvation might be sadly lost
for greed is now my sin.

I long to bask in member gold,
my deepest of desire.
But would this gold be worth it all
if cast into the fire?

It started with my fake reviews
for money just as fake.
My morals tarnish on the faith
I willingly forsake.

Then came the prompts that offered more
that helped me to excel.
I laughed each time I won the gold
as adversaries fell.

And second place would not fulfill
my overwhelming need.
I had to win the lion's share
to satisfy my greed.

So, over years I learned to lie
and write things that would win,
like butterflies and unicorns
with beauty scribbled in.

Reviews aren't what I seek, you see.
I only want your vote.
Rewards are scant for rating this,
it's costly to promote.

My inspiration's nearly gone,
a fate I didn't choose.
I doubt if heaven welcomes me
for greed is now my muse.

So, if I'm at the gates of hell,
I'll only have one thought.
Forever I will curse its name.
It's all Fanstory's fault.
