Just Wait Awhile

This Too Shall Pass

Acrostic Poem Contest Winner 
Time and again my mom would say...
Heartsick, when hard times kept us down.
I know that all will be okay,
Soon better times will come around.

This too shall pass, she'd gently say,
Over and done, then life will go on.
Oft we mourn the darkest day, but God will right the worst of wrongs.

Seems like now in these troubled times,
Hope grows scarce the worse it gets.
All of us must hold on tight.
Live our lives but don't forget...
Let advice guide our actions and don't get upset.

Please remember, we are in this together.
All human beings share in this scary plight.
So be vigilant, strong, and this virus we'll weather.
Soon this too shall pass and we'll win this fight.
