The secrets of the sea have lingered long,
where God Poseidon rules beneath the waves.
His mermaids through the ages sing their song,
to lure forgotten sailors to their graves.

Seafaring vessels lost, are cradled there,
a ghostly crew of sailors walk the decks.
No sense of time, of who they are or where,
nor of the part they played in epic wrecks.

The secrets that lie deep beneath the sea,
the buried treasures waiting to be found.
Lost in a place that has no memory,
protected through the ages, safe and sound.

A place where dreams are born but also die.
As timeless as the mountains and the sky.
