Can all of us agree right now,
that lovely birds all sing in tune?
That sunrises bring on the morn,
that sunsets always bring the moon?
Can all of us agree right now,
the flowers that will bloom in spring
will spread their scent and color 'round,
Make hearts feel light and want to sing?
Can all of us agree right now,
that trees clad in their leaves of green,
and rivers,as their water flows,
create for us, a peaceful scene?
Can all of us agree right now,
that we should love our fellow man,
and not discriminate by hue,
accepting all, reach out your hand?
Can all of us agree right now,
that happiness starts from within?
In order to love others, first
a love for yourself must begin.
Can all of us agree right now,
that attitudes are hard to change?
But if we care about this world,
we'll do our best to rearrange.
Can all of us agree right now,
that we must make a brand new start?
Though all this makes sense in our heads,
it now must make sense in our hearts.
