Damn she’s always floating in my head
Even when I dream at night lying in bed
I need an eternal potion to make her disappear
She walked out even though my love was sincere
Yes, she dumped me, yet she won’t leave my mind
She shrouds me with a spectral cloak that binds
What shall I do? What shall I do?
I’m in a perpetual state of living blue
If we were still living in days of old
A witch would help I’ve been told
Surprise! Witches are listed in the yellow pages
Gosh, they’re still around after the Dark Ages
I call, Witch Anne, says she can make a love ending solution
If I drink, she says my soul will be rendered complete ablution
I willingly agree to pay her ridiculous absorbent fee
She gives me a jar of leaves to makes a special tea
I sip, spinning head, ex-lover is gone and I am free
